국회 산업통상자원중소벤처기업위원회(이하 산중위) 소속 고동진 국회의원(국민의힘, 서울 강남구병)이 건강보험공단으로부터 제출받은 자료에 따르면, 산자부와 산하기관내 근로자가 최근 5년간 우울증을 비롯한 정신질환으로 진료받은 건수가 한 해도 빠짐없이 꾸준히 증가한 것으로 나타났다.

일터에서 정신질환에 걸렸다며 산재를 신청한 건수도 최근 5년간 27건에 달했으며, 그중 16건이 업무상 질병으로 인정받았다.
