남수단의 기독교 선교모임이 컴퓨터를 접할 기회가 없는 현지 청소년들에게 필요한 교육용 노트북 100대를 지원할 것을 요청한 바가 있다. 이 소식을 접한 김완식 안수집사(시냇가푸른교회, ㈜시티코어 대표이사)는 자신이 속한 선교단체에서 이를 수용하고, 교회와 지인들의 협력을 이끌어, 지난 8월 중순에 1차 25대를 남수단으로 발송했다고 전했다.
노트북 100대의 지원 요청에 따른 적잖은 규모의 재정 부담임에도 이를 수행할 수 있었던 상황을 탐문해본 바, 오랜 기간 동안에 활동해왔던 한국의 한 선교단체의 경험과 깊은 미담이 설인 연유가 있었다.
