긴 인생에서 바닥의 의미는 과연 무엇일까?

최근 나가는 교회, 목사님은 설교에서 인생의 바닥에 처한 사람들의 이야기를 성경을 통해 설명했다.

우리는 동굴과 터널의 차이를 이렇게 설명한다. 동굴은 막혀 있기 때문에 끝이지만 터널은 지나기만 하면 빛이 보이고 희망이 있다.

바닥도 더 이상 떨어질 곳이 없어 이제는 바닥을 치고 일어나기만 하면 된다. 그래서 바닥은 절망이 아니고 희망이라고 말한다. 아마도 맞는 이야기라고 생각한다.
