전남대 22대 총장 후보 1순위 이근배 의대 교수 선출

(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남대학교 총장 후보 1순위에 이근배 교수가 선출됐다.

25일 치러진 전남대학교 제22대 총장임용후보자 선거에서 이근배 교수(의대)는 투표자 수 7,190명 가운데 환산득표수 768표를 얻어 1순위를 차지했다. 2순위는 579표를 얻은 송진규 교수이다.

이근배 후보는 이날 오전에 진행된 1차 투표에서 4명의 후보 가운데 1순위를 차지했으나, 과반 득표에 못미쳐 결선 투표를 거쳤다.

이번 전남대 총장임용후보 선거는 광주시 북구 선거관리위원회가 위탁, 의뢰해 모든 과정을 직접 관장한 가운데 온라인 투표로 진행됐다.

향후 두 후보자는 전남대 연구윤리진실성위원회의 논문 및 연구윤리에 대한 검증, 교육부의 고위공직자에 대한 인사 검증 등을 거친 뒤, 대통령이 최종 1명을 임명하게 된다.
