한전KDN, 지역 대학 전기전공생 대상 전력계통 특화 교육 실시

한전KDN의 전력계통 특화 산학협력 교육은 ESG경영의 일환으로 지역인재 육성과 기업의 사회적 책임을 다하기 위해 지난 2022년부터 진행하고 있으며 올해는 상반기 전남대학교 전공 재학생을 대상으로 실시한 바 있다.

교육은 학교에서 쉽게 접할 수 없는 전력계통 전반에 실제 사용되는 전력기기 및 운영시스템을 확인하고 실습을 통해 전력계통 운영시스템과 구조를 이해하고 이를 통해 미래 에너지산업에 관심이 있는 청년 전문가를 육성하는데 목적을 두고 있다.

이번 전력계통 특화 산학협력 교육은 전력거래, 송․변전, 배전, AMI 각 분야에서 실제 사용되는 시스템에 대한 소개와 체험으로 진행됐다.

참가 대학생들은 첫날에 전력계통운영시스템(EMS), 전력시장운영시스템(CBP, Cost Based Pool), 송변전시스템(SCADA, Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition), 배전자동화시스템(DAS), 원격검침시스템(AMI) 등 각 분야의 대표적인 시스템에 대해 소개를 받았다.

둘째 날, 한전KDN 스마트품질센터를 방문해 전력기기 실물과 배전자동화시스템 운영 시연 견학과 모의고장 복구 실습을 진행했다.

한전KDN 관계자는 “지역 대학생 대상으로 전력계통 운영 실무능력 배양에 필요한 맞춤형 특화교육과 함께 취업에 필요한 채용 정보와 최근 입사직원들과 소통의 시간도 함께 진행하고 있다”며 “전력을 포함한 에너지산업 전반의 미래 주역을 육성하는데 힘을 보태어 산‧학‧연이 함께 발전할 수 있는 기반을 다지는데 노력할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

KEPCO KDN's specialized power system industry-academic cooperation education has been conducted since 2022 as part of ESG management to foster local talent and fulfill corporate social responsibility, and was conducted for Chonnam National University major students in the first half of this year.

The education aims to identify power devices and operating systems actually used in the entire power system that are not easily accessible at school, understand the power system operation system and structure through practice, and foster young experts interested in the future energy industry through this.
