4.19혁명공로자회+㈜레드파노라마 ‘4월의 불꽃’ 제작 발표회

㈜레드파노라마는 5월12일 보도자료에서 “4.19 혁명의 이야기를 담은 영화 ‘4월의 불꽃’이 제작된다”고 발표했다.

이 자료에서 “‘4월의 불꽃’은 4.19혁명 64주년을 맞아, 자유당 정권의 불법적인 선거부정에 항거했던 수많은 사람들을 기억하고 희생을 기리기 위해 제작된다. 4.19 혁명은 특히 학생들의 큰 희생으로 인해 대한민국의 자유, 민주, 정의의 뿌리가 더욱 깊이 내릴 수 있게 되었다”고 전하고 “젊은 세대에게 그 의미를 새롭게 되새기는 것이 필요하여, 대중적인 파급력이 높은 영화를 통해 당시 혁명에 참여했던 사람들의 인간적이며 헌신적인 모습을 잘 담아내서 4.19 혁명의 정신을 함양 시키고자 한다”고 알렸다.

이어서 “‘4월의 불꽃’은 4.19혁명공로자회 서울특별시지부와 ㈜레드파노라마가 제작하고 아름다운학교 운동본부, 서울시, 경상남도, 창원특례시 후원으로 제작된다”면서 “영화는 1960년 4.19혁명의 도화선이 되었던 김주열 열사의 이야기를 중심으로 당시 상황을 드라마틱하게 풀어 낼 예정”이라고 전했다.

영화의 집필을 맡은 정대성 작가는 “팩트와 픽션을 가미한 극영화 형식으로, ‘419 혁명의 도화선을 찾는 휴먼 시대극‘을 완성하겠다”고 강조했다. 배우 조은숙(대표작 : 금나와라 뚝딱), 김명호(대표작 : 사랑의 온도 82도), 조재윤(대표작 : 아저씨)가 시대적 아픔을 받쳐주는 연기를 펼칠 예정이며, 영화 초반부 나레이션 부분은 배우 최불암 선생님을 섭외 중에 있다고 한다.

제작사는 레드파노라마, 연출은 한국독립영화협회 이사장을 지낸 임창재 감독과 송영신 대표가 공동으로 메가폰을 잡을 예정이다. 주 촬영지는 경남 합천 드라마 세트장과 마산 창동마을 등 지역 곳곳의 역사성과 진정한 3.15와 4.19의 정신을 영화에 담고자 한다고 덧붙였다.

독립 영화 ‘4월의 불꽃’ 제작 발표회는 5월 13일(월) 오후2시, 419혁명기념도서관 1층 대강당에서 진행 할 예정이다.

He said, “The April 19 Revolution, in particular, allowed the roots of freedom, democracy, and justice in the Republic of Korea to take root more deeply thanks to the great sacrifices of students,” and added, “It is necessary to renew its meaning to the younger generation, through movies with a high impact on the public.” “We want to foster the spirit of the April 19 Revolution by capturing the humane and dedicated aspects of the people who participated in the revolution at the time.”

He continued, “'April Fire' is produced by the Seoul branch of the April 19 Revolution Meritorious Persons Association and Red Panorama Co., Ltd., and sponsored by the Beautiful School Movement Headquarters, Seoul Metropolitan Government, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Changwon Special City.” He continued, “The film is the ignition of the April 19 Revolution in 1960. “We plan to dramatically unravel the situation at the time, focusing on the story of martyr Kim Ju-yeol,” he said.

Writer Jeong Dae-seong, who was in charge of writing the film, emphasized, “We will complete a ‘human period drama that searches for the ignition of the 419 Revolution’ in the form of a feature film that adds facts and fiction.” Actors Jo Eun-sook (representative work: Gold Comes Quickly), Kim Myung-ho (representative work: Temperature of Love: 82 Degrees), and Jo Jae-yoon (representative work: Mr. Mister) are expected to deliver performances that support the pain of the times, and actor Choi Bul-am is being cast for the narration part in the early part of the film. They say there is.

The production company will be Red Panorama, and the director will be jointly directed by Lim Chang-jae, former chairman of the Korea Independent Film Association, and CEO Song Young-shin. He added that the main filming locations include the drama set in Hapcheon, Gyeongnam and Changdong Village in Masan, which aim to capture the historicity of various parts of the region and the true spirit of March 15 and April 19 in the film.

The production presentation for the independent film ‘April Fire’ will be held on Monday, May 13th at 2pm in the main auditorium on the first floor of the 419 Revolution Memorial Library.
