윤석열 대통령 내외, 필리핀 마닐라 도착..국빈 방문 공식 일정 시작

윤석열 대통령 내외가 6일(현지시간) 동남아 3국 순방 첫 방문지 필리핀에 도착해 국빈 방문 공식 일정에 들어갔다.

윤 대통령과 부인 김건희 여사·수행원 등을 태운 대통령 전용기 공군 1호기는 이날 오후 필리핀 마닐라 니노이 아키노 국제공항에 도착했다.

이번 국빈 방문은 이명박 전 대통령 이후 13년 만으로 올해 양국 수교 75주년을 맞아 이뤄졌다.

윤 대통령은 첫 일정으로 한국전 참전 기념비를 찾아 헌화하는 가운데 과거 이 전 대통령 역시 지난 2011년 필리핀 국빈 방문 당시 헌화한 바 있다.

필리핀은 지난 6·25전쟁 당시 아시아 국가들 중 맨 먼저 병력을 보낸 가운데 참전한 7420명 파병부대원 중 전사자 112명을 추모키 위해 조성된 게 한국전 참전 기념비다.

윤 대통령은 이어 필리핀 현지 교민들과 동포 만찬 간담회를 갖는 것으로 첫날 일정을 마무리한다.
