【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국원자력환경공단(이사장 조성돈)은 협력사와 협력사 소속 직원의 산업재해 예방 및 안전한 일터 구현을 위해 ESG 경영의 일환으로‘도급사업 안전보건 관리시스템’을 추진한다고 26일 밝혔다.
이번 관리시스템은 중대재해 처벌 등에 관한 법률 시행으로 중대재해가 발생할 경우 근로자 개인의 아픔을 떠나 경영진의 책임 또한 강화됨에 따라, 동반성장의 입장에서 협력사의 어려움 극복을 위하여 추진되는 사항이다.
공단의‘도급사업 안전보건 관리시스템’은 적격수급업체 선정, 수급인 안전보건 정보 제공, 수급업체 위험성평가 이행·점검 관리, 교육·휴게·위생시설 지원, 안전작업 허가제도 및 혼재작업 안전관리, 안전보건 취약 수급업체 지원 등으로 구성되어 있다.
이에 따라, 10월부터는 안전계약특수조건을 새롭게 제정하여 공단과 협력사와의 모든 계약에 대하여 안전관리계획서, 위험성평가 시행 결과 등을 의무적으로 제출하게 하여 도급사업 안전보건관리를 한층 강화할 예정이다.
공단 조성돈 이사장은 “협력사의 산업재해 예방을 위해서는 공단의 역할 또한 매우 중요하다”라고 강조하며, “안전보건 역량을 갖춘 협력사를 발굴하고 공단의 사회적 책임을 실천하기 위해 시스템을 개발했다”고 밝혔다.
