【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교(총장 최재영)가 개교 이래 최대 규모의 ‘해외선진기술연수단’을 파견한다고 4일 밝혔다.
지난 3일 영진전문대는 총 13개 학과 240여 명의 재학생으로 구성된 ‘2024학년도 해외선진기술연수단’ 발대식을 개최했다.
이들은 컴퓨터정보계열, AI융합기계계열, 인테리어디자인과, 간호학과, 반려동물과, 동물보건과, 조리제과제빵과, 경영회계서비스계열, 호텔항공관광과, 유아교육과, 뷰티융합과, 방송영상미디어과, 만화애니메이션과 소속으로 미국, 일본, 호주 등의 나라에 파견된다.
짧게는 3박4일에서 길게는 18박19일 일정으로 학과 특성에 맞는 해외 현지 어학연수와 문화체험, 기업체 연수 등의 프로그램에 참여할 예정이다.
최재영 총장은 “이번 해외선진기술연수단을 통해 학생들이 해외 취업에 대한 동기를 부여받고, 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 인재로 거듭 성장할 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 기대한다”면서 “앞으로도 영진전문대학교는 학생들이 글로벌 무대에서 활약할 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램을 제공하는 데 최선을 다할 것”이라고 했다.
