‘21세기 대표 록 밴드’ 린킨 파크, 13년만 내한 공연 확정..아시아 중 유일

브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 하이브리드 록을 상징하는 ‘21세기 대표 록 밴드’ 린킨 파크(LINKIN PARK)가 단독공연으로 한국을 찾는다.

6일 공연 기획사 라이브네이션코리아에 따르면, 린킨 파크 내한공연(INSPIRE CONCERT SERIES #3: LINKIN PARK)은 오는 28일 오후 7시 30분, 국내 최초 다목적 실내 공연장 인스파이어 아레나에서 개최된다.

1996년 결성된 린킨 파크는 전 세계 통산 1억장 이상의 앨범 판매와 함께 그래미 어워드 2회 수상을 비롯해 아메리칸 뮤직 어워드 6회, 빌보드 뮤직 어워드 2회, MTV 비디오 뮤직 어워드 4회, MTV 유럽 뮤직 어워드 10회 수상 기록을 세웠다.

그러나 7집 앨범 발매 두 달여 만인 2017년 7월, 보컬 체스터 베닝턴의 비극적인 사망 소식이 전해졌고 린킨 파크는 추모 공연을 마지막으로 긴 활동 중단에 들어가게 된다.
