윤석열 대통령, 팜 밍 찡 베트남 총리 접견 "상호 교역·투자 더욱 활성화"

윤석열 대통령이 2일 공식 방한 중인 팜 밍 찡 베트남 총리를 접견하고 양국 간 상호 관계 발전 방안을 논의했다고 대통령실이 전했다. 찡 총리는 한덕수 국무총리 초청으로 지난달 30일 방한했다.

윤 대통령은 이날 오후 용산 대통령실에서 찡 총리와 만나 "양국 간 통관 간소화 등 제도적 협력을 계속 강화함으로써 교역·투자가 더욱 활성화되길 바란다"며 "우리 퇴역함·퇴역 경비정 양도 사업·방산 협력이 차질 없이 진행돼 국방·안보 분야 전략적 협력을 강화해 나가길 바란다"고 말했다.

그러면서 찡 총리 포함 베트남 지도부가 현지 진출한 한국 기업들 활동에 관심갖고 적극 지원해 줄 것을 당부하면서 그간의 지원에 감사를 표했다.

또 "우수 기술력을 보유한 한국 기업들이 베트남 LNG 발전 사업·핵심광물 개발 및 가공 분야 등에 참여해 베트남 에너지 전환 노력에 기여하길 바란다"고 말했다.

이어 "우리 인·태전략·한·아세안 연대구상(KASI) 이행 핵심 파트너 베트남과 인·태지역 자유·평화·번영을 위해 함께 노력해 나가길 바란다"며 베트남이 이달까지 3년 간 한·아세안 대화조정국으로 활동하며 한·아세안 관계 발전에 기여해 준 것에 사의를 표했다.

더불어 "북한이 유엔안보리 결의를 정면 위반하며 핵·탄도미사일 개발·도발을 지속하고 있는 상황서 국제사회가 북핵 불용 의지를 확고히 하고 안보리 대북 제재를 철저히 이행해 나가는 게 중요한 시점"이라며 아세안 차원의 단합되고 단호한 대응이 이뤄질 수 있도록 베트남의 적극 역할을 당부했다.

이에 찡 총리는 윤 대통령 환대에 사의를 표하며 "양국이 포괄적 전략 동반자 관계를 기초로 작년 6월 대통령의 베트남 국빈 방문 이후 여러 분야에서 관계 발전을 이뤄왔고, 앞으로 더욱 많은 발전을 이뤄낼 여력이 크다"고 평했다.

그러면서 "그간 베트남 경제 발전에 기여한 한국 기업들 공헌을 높이 평가한다"며 "한국 기업들 대베트남 투자 확대를 위해 규제 개선 등에 노력해 왔고 앞으로도 노력해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

또 "한반도 평화·안정에 관한 대통령 구상을 지지한다"며 향후 한반도 비핵화 및 역내 평화·안정을 위한 전략적 소통·협력을 더욱 강화해 나가기로 했다.

양 정상은 오는 10월 한·아세안 대화관계 수립 35주년을 맞아 추진되고 있는 '한·아세안 포괄적 전략 동반자 관계' 수립을 위해 긴밀히 협력해 나가기로 했다.

양 정상 간 만남은 지난해 5월 히로시마 G7 정상회의·6월 베트남 국빈방문·9월 자카르타 아세안 관련 정상회의 계기 면담 등에 이어 이번이 4번째다.
