도서출판 오래 “함께 한 시간 속에서 나의 꿈이 시작되었다” 신간 출간

김원배-나컨세-하랑-김예서-북힐공방-꿩알-이채원 등 7인이 공저(共著)한 “함께 한 시간속에서 나의 꿈이 시작되었다”가 출간(도서출판 오래 )됐다.

도서출판 오래측은 이 책의 보도자료에서 “함께였기에 시작할 수 있었다, 꿈은 언제 시작이 되는 걸까요? 바로 지금 이 순간일 수도 있고 아주 오랜 시간이 지난 다음 일 수도 있습니다. 대부분의 사람들이 후자에 속하지 않나 생각해 봅니다. 생계를 위해 일을 해야하고 집에 가면 가족들을 돌보며 말 그대로 하루하루 현실과의 부딪침 속에서 살아가기 때문이죠. 꿈은 커녕 온전한 나 자신을 바라봐 주기도 힘들 때가 많습니다. 그런데 참 신기한 건 이 꿈이라는 녀석은 눈에 보이지 않는 그림자처럼 항상 우리 마음속 한 편에 자리를 잡고 있다는 것이죠. 단지 그걸 알아채지 못할 뿐. 설사 알아챘더라도 꿈을 시작할 수 있는 힘이 부족해 그대로 잊고 살거나 포기하는 경우가 많습니다. 만약 혼자의 힘으로 끄집어 낼 수 없다면 다른 종류의 힘을 빌리면 됩니다. 그게 바로 ‘함께’라는 힘입니다”고 설명하면서 “<함께 한 시간속에서 나의 꿈이 시작되었다> 이 책 역시 ‘함께’ 라는 힘이 있었기에 7명의 저자의 소중한 이야기가 세상 밖으로 나올 수 있었다”고 알렸다.

이어 “책을 쓰기 전  1년이란 시간 동안 <나컨세 글쓰기 연구반>에서 매주 한편씩 글쓰기를 진행했습니다. 하랑님. 북힐공방님, 예서쌤님, 꿩알님, 이채원님이 그 주인공들입니다. 김원배 작가님과 함께 글을 첨삭하면서 참 많이 웃기도 하고 울기도 하며 그 시간들을 쌓아왔습니다. 평소에 글을 쓰시던 분들이 아니었기에 매주다른 주제로 내 이야기를 풀어쓴다는 것은 생각보다 어려운 일이 었습니다. 개인의 글 쓰는 습관부터 글의 도입부 시작, 문맥 잡기, 적절한 단어 선택, 맞춤법 등 글을 쓴다는 게 이렇게도 고난의 길이냐며 끊임없이 물어보시기도 했던 기억이 납니다”면서 “글쓰기를 시작한 후 1년이 거의 다 되었을 때쯤 ‘함께 책을 써보면 어떨까’ 하는 생각이 들기 시작했습니다. 사실 “함께 우리 공저 내볼까요?“ 이 말을 하기까지 많은 고민이 되었습니다. 오래된 저의 꿈이기도 했지만 <글쓰기연구반>에서 쓰는 글과 책으로 출판하기 위해 쓰는 글은 너무 다른 세상 이야기라 과연 우리가 끝까지 잘 해낼 수 있을지에 대한 걱정이 많이 앞섰죠. 공저를 내기로 결심하고 실행하는 데까지 냉탕과 온탕을 정말 많이 넘나들었던 기억들이 새록새록 떠오릅니다”고 강조했다.
