신광철 작가 저술 신간(新刊) “K-HUMAN(케이-휴먼)” 출간

신광철 작가가 저술한 “K-HUMAN(케이-휴먼)”이 나왔다. 부제는 '한국인보고서'이다. 한국인에 대한 본격적인 탐구와 성찰이 돋보이는 책이다. 이토록 깊이와 넓이에서 자랑할 만하다.

신광철 작가는 한국인에 대하여 연구하고 싶었다고 한다. 이른바 한국인 대탐사를 떠났다. 세계에서 가장 한국을 비하하고, 한국인을 인정하지 않는 나라가 있다. 바로 한국, 한국인이었다. 자신을 비하하고 한국인임을 인정하지 않는 태도는 어디에서 발원한 것일까 알고 싶었다.

한국사회현상을 진단하고, 파악할 수 있는 유일한 방법이 먼저 한국인의 정신과 기질을 이해해야 하는 것이며, 한국인을 알아야 현재를 파악하고, 미래로 나아갈 수 있는 유일한 방법이라는 점에서, 한국인의 연구와 탐색이 필요했다. 신광철 작가는 나를 알고 싶었고 한국이라는 나라의 사회현상을 알고 싶었다고 말한다. 그렇게 한국인에 대한 연구는 시작되었다.

K-HUMAN(케이휴먼)에는 한국인의 기질과 정신이 들어 있다. 아하, 라고 무릎을 칠 만큼 한국인에 통찰과 직관이 놀랍다. 크게 봐서 다음과 같은 내용이 담겨있다.

한국인에 대한 연구는 거의 시도되지 않은 미개척분야로 흥미진진한 내용이 있었다. 한국인이 가진 빨리빨리를 평생 하는 힘, 슬픔의 '한恨'을 가졌으면서 기쁨의 '흥興'을 가진 극단적인 기질을 동시에 가진 특이함을 이해할 수 있었다. 한국의 사회 현상과 세계문화에 씨를 뿌리기 시작하는 한류와 첨단과학의 선봉에 서 있는 특성을 이해할 수 있었다.

신광철 작가는 연구를 통해 알게 되었다. 신광철 작가와 우리는 한국인이었고, 한국인은 놀라웠고, 한국인으로서 자긍自矜으로 뿌듯하게 하는 책이다.

신광철 작가의 통찰과 직관이 공감과 감동을 줄 수 있는 작가가 가진 내공 덕분이다. 살펴보자.

신광철 작가는 한옥에 대한 책을 5권이나 냈다. 한국의 문화유산에 대한 책도 2권 냈다. 최근작으로 한민족의 고대사를 소설화한 대하소설 [소설환단고기] 5권을 냈다. 그리고 한옥과 관련된 책을 무려 5권을 저술해 탄탄하게 한국인에 대한 연구를 해 온 작가였다. 더욱이나 [한국의 세계문화유산]과 [한국의 세계기록문화]를 저술해 한국인에 탐색작업을 마친 작가의 저술이란 점에서 의미가 있다.

한국인이라면 K-HUMAN(케이휴먼)을 읽어야 하는 이유다. 한국의 정치 경제 문화 사회현상을 이해하려면 한국인에 대한 이해가 먼저다. 왜 한국인의 빨리빨리를 그것도 평생동안 하는가. 국회는 왜 이리 시끄러운가를 알 수 있다. 한국의 사회현상을 알려면 한국인을 먼저 알아야 한다고 신광철 작가는 일갈한다.

Author Shin Kwang-cheol's "K-HUMAN" has been published. The subtitle is 'Korean Report'. It is a book that stands out for its full-fledged exploration and reflection on Koreans. It is worthy of boasting in its depth and breadth.

Author Shin Kwang-cheol said that he wanted to study Koreans. He went on a so-called great exploration of Koreans. There is a country in the world that belittles Korea the most and does not recognize Koreans. It was Korea, Koreans. I wanted to know where this attitude of belittlement and refusal to recognize that oneself is Korean came from.

The only way to diagnose and understand the social phenomena of Korea is to first understand the spirit and temperament of Koreans, and understanding Koreans is the only way to understand the present and move forward into the future, so research and exploration of Koreans were necessary. Author Shin Kwang-cheol said that he wanted to know me and the social phenomena of Korea. That is how his research on Koreans began.

K-HUMAN contains the temperament and spirit of Koreans. Koreans have amazing insight and intuition that will make you hit your knees and say, “Aha!” In broad terms, it contains the following contents.

I was able to understand the uniqueness of Koreans’ ability to do things quickly all their lives, and their extreme temperament of having both the “han” of sadness and the “heung” of joy. I was able to understand the characteristics of Koreans at the forefront of the Korean Wave and cutting-edge science that are beginning to sow seeds in Korean social phenomena and world culture.

I learned about author Shin Kwang-cheol through research. Author Shin Kwang-cheol and we were Korean, Koreans were amazing, and this book makes me proud as a Korean.

Author Shin Kwang-cheol's insight and intuition are thanks to the inner strength of the author who can give sympathy and emotion. Let's take a look.

Author Shin Kwang-cheol has published five books on Hanok. He has also published two books on Korean cultural heritage. His most recent work is the epic novel [Sosul Hwandan Gogi], which fictionalizes the ancient history of the Korean people, and he has published five books related to Hanok, showing that he has conducted solid research on Koreans.
