윤석열 대통령-찐 베트남 총리 회담 "교역 활성화 위해 계속 긴밀히 협력"

윤석열 대통령이 10일(현지시간) 팜 민 찐 베트남 총리와 양자회담을 갖고 "2030년까지 양국 교역액 1500억불 달성을 목표로 교역 활성화를 위해 계속 긴밀히 협력해 나가자"고 밝혔다.

아세안(ASEAN·동남아시아국가연합) 정상회의 참석차 라오스를 방문한 윤 대통령은 이날 비엔티안 국립컨벤션센터(NCC)에서 가진 찐 총리와의 회담에서 "활발한 고위급 교류를 토대로 양국 관계가 '포괄적 전략 동반자 관계'에 걸맞게 나날이 발전하고 있는 것을 기쁘게 생각한다"며 "양국이 그간의 긴밀한 협력 성과를 기반으로 다층적 분야에서 전략적 미래지향적 협력을 더욱 확대해 나가길 바란다"고 말했다.

그러면서 한국 기업의 원활한 현지 활동·진출을 위한 베트남 측 지속적 관심·지원을 요청 후 "고속철·LNG 발전 같은 베트남 인프라 프로젝트에 우리 기업들이 참여할 수 있는 기회가 계속 마련되길 바란다"고 말했다.

또 "베트남이 담대한 구상을 비롯 한반도 비핵화·평화 통일에 대한 우리 정부 노력을 지지하고 있는 데 대해 감사하다"며 "'한·아세안 포괄적 전략 동반자 관계' 격상에 있어 아세안 내 핵심 파트너 베트남이 그간 많은 역할을 했다"고 평했다.

찐 총리는 "베트남으로선 최상 상태에 있는 양국 관계의 지속적 발전을 위해 최선 노력을 다할 것"이라며 "얼마 전 태풍 '야기'로 인한 피해 극복을 위해 한국 정부가 200만불의 인도적 지원을 신속 제공해 준 게 양국 유대·우정을 잘 보여주는 증표"라고 화답했다.

그러면서 "한·베트남, 한·아세안 '포괄적 전략 동반자 관계' 발전을 위해 계속 긴밀히 협력해 나가자"고 덧붙였다.
